
Quantum Physics
Quantum physics, are also known as wave mechanics, a branch of physics that studies the behavior of matter when the dimensions of it are so small, around 1,000 atoms, which effects are starting to emerge as the impossibility of knowing exactly the position of a particle, or energy, or know its position and velocity simultaneously, without affecting the particle itself (described by the Heisenberg uncertainty principle).
Has Emerge over the first half of the twentieth century in response to problems that could not be solved by classical physics.
The two pillars of this theory are:
• The particles exchange energy in multiples of a smallest possible quantity, called quantum (quantum) of energy.
• The position of the particles is defined by a function describing the probability that this particle is in that position at that instant.
